(124) Another of our members has an old estate up on the Hudson River. The garden lies beyond the house, built by Stanford White in his early days as an architect, but the garden is an old Dutch garden, and box bordered beds filled with blooming plants throughout the summer. (125) A tea house is built on the edge of the box bordered garden, and is used at sunset time when the views of the Hudson River are bathed in the red and gold of sunset light. Mrs. W. R. Thompson.
