(66) Some distance from the house is another large garden called the Secret Garden, with several pools, perennial borders; and line boxwood. It is very peaceful and quiet, and a charming place when one finds the entrance. (67) The boxwood garden leads from one of the three terraces - a charming fountain by Miss Schoonmaker at the end. Pitkin & Mott were the landscape architects and the planting was done by Hannah Champlin of Cleveland.
