These glass lantern slides showing photographs of gardens appear to have been used by Rachel McMasters Miller Hunt in lectures. Most of the gardens were in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. The photographs were taken in the late 1920s or early 1930s.
We have included with these slides excerpts from what is believed to be a copy of the original lecture notes used by Mrs. Hunt to give her presentations. The notes have been directly transcribed to go along with these digitized images, and spelling and grammar have not been corrected.
