(111) In the Allegheny Mountains Mrs. Smith has a simple garden for her country house, also designed by Ellen Shipman, which fits in perfectly with the Georgian white-washed house. Spring bulbs and early flowering fruit trees, and later on perennial blooms, make this garden a delightful addition to a country estate.
