Slide 136 — Mrs E. A. Woods

Excerpt from Mrs. Hunt’s lecture

(136) Mrs. E. A. Woods' garden and house are situated on the top of a hill overlooking the Sewickley Valley. A perennial border enclosed by a low wall leads from the house down to a bowling green below. Beyond there is a series of terraced gardens, where a magnificent collection of standard peonies are a joy in the spring time.
