(126) Mrs. William Thaw, Jr. has a very interesting garden near her house. The garden was laid out by Olmstead and all the planting on the estate was done by that famous firm. A three-sided pergola leads from the house to the sunken garden, in the center of which is a statue made by Frank Vittor.
