(3) The pool has a very agreeable planting of ivy and daphne around its limestone edge. I think we are apt to clutter up the edges of pools. A little more restrained planting adds to the charm. There is some very good garden sculpture in this garden, including a well head and a figure in a niche in the wall beyond. The garden of Mrs. Maitland Alexander.
